Some of them seem to be taken straight out of the fictional setting they were part of while others are clever riffs on classics. Here are 20 foods you must try at Universal Studios.

1. Super Mushroom Calzone at Power Up Cafe

Inspired by items in Super Mario Bros. Mushroom Kingdom, the mushroom-shaped Super Mushroom Calzone is a delicious handheld snack you can buy at Power Up Cafe. Vegetarians can enjoy the vegetarian 1-Up Mushroom Calzone.

2. Butterbeer at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter

Perhaps the most famous item at Universal Studios is Butterbeer and for a good reason. A Hogwarts favorite, the fizzy drink was brought to life at The Wizarding World. It tastes like butterscotch and shortbread and comes hot, cold, or frozen.

3. Big Pink Donut at Lard Lad Donuts

The big pink donut is a Homer Simpson classic that you can get in real life at Lard Lad Donuts in Springfield, USA. It's exactly what it sounds like: a giant chewy donut dipped in pink frosting and covered in sprinkles, exactly like in the cartoon.

4. The Clogger Burger at Krusty Burger

Another Simpsons-themed food chain available at Universal Studios is Krusty Burger. The clogger burger is the most decadent on the menu with two patties, bacon, cheese, and dripping fat, just like Homer would like it.

5. Soft-Serve Ice Cream at Honeyduke's

If you're craving something sweet, run don't walk to Honeyduke's at The Wizarding World and pick up some soft serve. It comes in ten flavors, including butterbeer, which we would argue is the flavor to choose because how often are you in Hogsmeade anyway?

6. Dino-Sized Turkey Leg at Jurassic World

One of the most iconic foods at Universal Studios is the cleverly-named dino-sized turkey leg which you can get inside Jurassic World. This thing is in fact massive and you may want to consider sharing it with at least one person.

7. Flaming Moe at Moe's Tavern

Inspired by an episode of The Simpsons where Moe steals Homer's recipe for a strong cocktail made with cough syrup, you can get this drink in real life from Moe's Tavern. Fortunately, it doesn't contain cough syrup. It's a non-alcoholic smoky orange soda served steaming.

8. The Great Feast at Three Broomsticks

If you're with a few people, why not order the great feast at Three Broomsticks in The Wizarding World? The menu is inspired by hearty British fare. This platter offers a nice variety of dishes including spare ribs, roast chicken, and vegetables so you don't have to choose just one.

9. Sticky Toffee Pudding at Three Broomsticks

Make sure to save room for dessert when you visit Three Broomsticks. The sticky toffee pudding, a British classic, is the one that everyone keeps talking about.

Harry Potter fans may remember Harry buying a chocolate frog from the trolley on his first journey to Hogwarts. At Honeyduke's, you can buy one too and collect all the character cards that come in the little box.

11. Brownie Milkshake at Toothsome Chocolate Emporium 

The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium is reminiscent of Willy Wonka but with a steampunk twist. It offers a large variety of sweets, including a sundae bar where you can get whatever your heart desires. Another amazing option is the decadent brownie milkshake.

12. Tropical Margarita at Isla Nu-Bar

Located in Universal Studio's Jurassic World, Isla Nu-Bar (a play on Isla Nublar from the first Jurassic Park) is a dinosaur-inspired tiki bar. They have a variety of delicious cocktails, but the tropical margarita (a margarita with rum) is one of our favorites.

Channel your inner Homer Simpson with one (or 10) Duff beers at Moe's. It's a classic American beer that tastes great after wandering the park all day.

14. Tiki Tai at Isla Nu-Bar

Another excellent drink at Isla Nu-Bar to help you recover after being scared by dinosaurs is the tiki tai. It's made with pineapple, rum, passionfruit puree, lime juice and orgeat.

This donut shop already garnered a cult following in Orlando for its fun and adventurous flavors before opening shop at Universal Studios.

20. Tots at Green Eggs & Ham

Another food everyone who has ever gone to Universal Studios keeps talking about is the tots at Green Eggs & Ham. They come in a variety of flavors including pizza and buffalo. Another clever item they serve at the Dr. Seuss-themed restaurant is the Who Hash, consisting of tots, corned beef, queso sauce, and green onions.
