2. Tortas- Mexico

Tortas is a popular street food in many parts of Mexico. Thanks to the French influence, the sandwich is created with crusty boulangerie-worthy bread. Tucked inside are tender chunks of pork and the entire is sandwich is drowned in a spicy red sauce.

The Elvis sandwich was, of course, inspired by the legendary rockstar's favorite foods. Made with sliced banana, peanut butter, and strips of bacon, this childish sandwich will take you on a sweet, salty, and savory flavor journey with every bite.
